Salman Khan kept up with tradition and joined his family for their Ganpati visarjan festivities.The Khan family, which is known to host grand Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations every year, kept the festivities going, this time at brother Sohail Khan’s residence. Salman was seen with his siblings, including Aripta, Alvira and their families, participating in the festivities and performing the aarti for Bappa before the visarjan.
Khan, who often interacts with the media with a straight face, appeared to be in a cheerful mood on Tuesday. As per reports, he exchanged glances with one of the paparazzi, and smiled before breaking into giggles. The actor then walked towards the interior of the venue, and also greeted a few other guests.
Dressed in printed jeans with a matching jacket, Salman completed his look with a beanie over his short new hairdo. The actor was seen taking part in the prayers and was also seen joining Iulia Vantur as she performed the aarti.Actor Varun Sharma was among the many guests present at the celebrations and was also seen offering his prayers to Lord Ganesha ahead of the visarjan.
The immersion took place within the premises of Sohail’s building, where a large water tank had been arranged for the occasion. Arhaan Khan, Arbaaz Khan’s son, was seen helping with the immersion of the Ganpati idol. Pictures and videos from the visarjan ceremony have now gone viral on social media.Salman left fans concerned when he shared a reel on his social media account this week, featuring a scenic mountain backdrop and a thought-provoking message. The post read, “Jab thoda mila, toh khush tha, ab zyada mila, toh dukhi kyun? Jo chahiye tha kal mujhe, aaj mila toh zaroori kyun? (When I had a little, I was happy, so why am I sad now that I have more? What I wanted yesterday, why does it seem unnecessary now that I have it today?)”On the work front, Salman has been rocking a leaner look for his next film. The actor will be seen in director Vamshi Paidipally’s next film, co-starring Nayanthara. The project marks the actors’ first on-screen pairing.
