Salman Khan is set to bring an Afghan backdrop to the big screen, but the actor will not travel to Afghanistan for the shoot. Director Vamshi Paidipally has reportedly recreated an Afghan village at Prime Focus Studio in Film City, Goregaon, for the ongoing schedule of his upcoming action entertainer, currently being referred to by its working title ‘SVC63’. The elaborate set has been constructed to capture the look and atmosphere of an Afghan settlement. Mud-covered buildings, cramped lanes and aged homes form part of the setting, which has been designed for several major action portions featuring Salman Khan.According to Mid-Day, a report revealed, “Nayanthara has joined Salman for this portion of the shoot. The duo will feature together in key action set-pieces. The Mumbai schedule, which began on August 6, is among the most important stretches during which the director plans to wrap a chunk of the action material.”The Mumbai leg is expected to continue until early September, with the makers aiming to complete a substantial portion of the film’s action sequences during this phase.
Jackie Shroff joins the action-packed schedule
Veteran actor Jackie Shroff is also expected to join the team during the ongoing shoot. According to reports, he plays an important role in the narrative and becomes significant when Salman’s character faces a difficult situation.His presence is expected to add another layer to the action-driven portion being filmed in Mumbai.
Salman Khan’s packed schedule ahead
Once the current schedule wraps, Salman will shift his attention towards his television commitments with ‘Bigg Boss 20’. The actor is expected to return to ‘SVC63’ for patchwork shoots between September and October. Following the completion of those portions, Salman is slated to begin his first project with filmmaker duo Raj and DK in November, keeping the superstar’s calendar packed with back-to-back commitments.
