After teaming up for ‘Hanuman Ansh’, Mahaveer Jain Films and writer-director Vishal Chaturvedi are set to collaborate once again. The makers have announced their next venture, ‘RamBola’, a film that will explore the life and journey of Mahakavi Goswami Tulsidas, one of India’s most revered poets and spiritual figures.The announcement marks another project for Chaturvedi centred on a prominent figure from the Bharatiya Sant Parampara.
Vishal Chaturvedi to write and direct ‘RamBola’
Helmed by Vishal Chaturvedi, who has also written the screenplay, RamBola will trace Goswami Tulsidas’ journey of devotion and transformation. The film will explore his evolution as a saint and poet while highlighting the enduring influence of his literary and spiritual legacy on Indian culture and literature.The project brings together Mahaveer Jain, Vishal Chaturvedi, Amit Upadhyay and Raghuvendra Singh as producers and will be presented under the Mahaveer Jain Films banner.

Through RamBola, the makers aim to bring the story of Tulsidas to the big screen, with the narrative focusing on his journey of devotion and his transformation into one of the most influential figures in Indian spiritual and literary history.The film will also look at the lasting impact of his writings and spiritual thought, offering audiences a cinematic exploration of the man behind the celebrated literary legacy.

RamBola is not Vishal Chaturvedi’s first project exploring the life of a revered spiritual figure. The filmmaker previously wrote and directed ‘Hanuman Ansh’, based on the life of Shri Neeb Karori Baba.With RamBola, Chaturvedi now turns his attention to another towering figure associated with the Bharatiya Sant Parampara. The project also marks a continuation of his collaboration with Mahaveer Jain Films following Hanuman Ansh.

Meanwhile, Mahaveer Jain Films has a strong slate of upcoming projects across different genres and themes. The banner is backing Mrigdeep Singh Lamba’s ‘Naagzilla’, starring Kartik Aaryan, as well as Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Yeh Prem Mol Liya’, which features Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari. The production house is also associated with ‘White’, headlined by Vikrant Massey and inspired by an incident involving global spiritual leader Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.
