Newlyweds Nupur Sanon and singer Stebin Ben have found a home that combines modern interiors with spectacular views of Mumbai’s coastline. The couple, who got married in Udaipur in January 2026 after dating for more than four years, have settled into a sea-facing apartment in Bandra. Their building also has some high-profile residents. Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni, singer Guru Randhawa and actor Neha Dhupia are among their neighbours.
Nupur takes the lead in designing their home
The couple recently offered a glimpse of their apartment during a conversation with Curly Tales. Stebin revealed that Nupur played the bigger role in deciding how their home would look, with most of the design choices reflecting her preferences. “A lot of inputs were from her. 70% is Nupur, and 30% is me,” he shared.The apartment follows a largely neutral and minimal aesthetic, with white and black tones dominating several spaces. At the same time, personal touches and greenery give the home a warmer feel.
A sea view that reminded Nupur of Dubai
The expansive view was one of the biggest reasons Stebin fell in love with the property. He recalled visiting the neighbourhood while looking for a rental home and being immediately drawn to the scenery.“Two years back when I came here to find a house for rental, I really liked this view, specially from the reclamation to the Worli side. I loved it and I wanted to buy it,” the singer shared. Nupur had a similar reaction when Stebin showed her the apartment. The view, in particular, left her impressed. “When he showed me the house, I told him ‘The view doesn’t look like Mumbai, this looks like Dubai sometimes’,” she said.
Living room filled with awards and music
The spacious living room reflects the couple’s shared connection with music and entertainment. Two large shelves display several awards, while a white piano complements the room’s predominantly monochrome colour scheme.The piano is more than just a decorative element for the couple. Nupur and Stebin often spend time together playing music and singing.The living space extends towards the dining section, which features a large table surrounded by a combination of green chairs and a classic black-and-white couch. Neutral walls keep the overall look understated.
Balcony overlooking the Worli skyline
One of the standout features of the apartment is its sea-facing balcony. Large glass doors connect the living area to the outdoor deck, which has been surrounded by plants, greenery and wall creepers.The seating area follows the home’s black-and-white theme and offers the couple a comfortable spot to unwind while taking in the view.The property also has a small private pool. According to the couple, it was not functional when they purchased the apartment. The balcony nevertheless remains one of their favourite spaces, offering views of the sea and the Worli skyline.
A kitchen blending two food cultures
The kitchen combines pastel blue and white tones and has been designed as a contemporary modular space. It also reflects the couple’s different cultural backgrounds through the food they prepare at home.Nupur comes from a Punjabi family, while Stebin has Malayalee roots. During their home tour, the couple showed how their Sunday meals can bring both cuisines together, with sambhar-uttapam and chole bhature being prepared at the same time.The kitchen’s soft colour palette and clean design add to the modern aesthetic seen throughout the apartment.
Stebin’s dedicated music studio
Music naturally occupies another important corner of the home. Stebin has a dedicated recording studio where he works on his songs.The room has a darker aesthetic compared with the rest of the apartment, with black interiors and walls decorated with iconic CD and DVD covers. The singer also displayed some of his musical instruments, including his guitar and piano.The space gives Stebin a private area to work while remaining connected to the couple’s home environment.Dhoni and other celebrities are their neighboursThe couple revealed that their building has only seven apartments, making the list of residents particularly notable. Dhoni owns the apartment on the seventh floor, while Guru Randhawa lives on the third floor. Neha Dhupia has also recently moved into the building.
