Actor Dylan Sprouse has won over the internet after he reportedly tackled and restrained a home intruder at his Hollywood Hills residence.
Dylan Sprouse holds home intruder at gunpoint
According to TMZ, the incident took place in the early hours of Friday morning when the suspect attempted to break into the actor’s home. However, Sprouse reportedly managed to tackle the individual and held him at gunpoint. His wife, Barbara Palvin, is said to have called emergency services during the incident.The actor reportedly managed to restrain the man until authorities arrived.
Dylan Sprouse escapes unharmed
As close to the actor told the news outlet that while Sprouse was shaken by the incident, he did not sustain any injuries. The report also stated that he used a firearm to detain the suspect during the break-in.
Police take man into custody
The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed the reports with officers responding to the burglary allert at approximately 12:37 am. Police said a suspect was taken into custody at the scene.Images from outside the actor’s home soon went viral online. Photos and video show the police escorting the man away from the actor’s plush property. As per reports, Sprouse purchased the four-bedroom, two-bathroom home, reportedly valued at nearly $2 million, in 2021.Authorities have not released further details about the suspect or potential charges.Dylan Sprouse is best known for his role in the Disney Channel series ‘The Suite Life of Zack & Cody’, in which he starred alongside his twin brother, Cole Sprouse.
