Ever since BTS started their much-awaited tour around the world, fans have not been able to get enough of the group. There has been a lot of interest in adding more shows to the tour as well as more cities, to ensure that fans from all over the globe have a chance to watch them live. Well, as per the latest updates, it seems the group and their management seem to have heard them, as extra tour dates have been added to the final plan! Here is what we know so far.
BTS announce new tour dates
Due to popular demand among fans, the group and then management announced in an official post on social media that they are adding new tour dates to the Philippines and Indonesia. For ‘BTS WORLD TOUR ARIRANG’, new dates have been added for Jakarta and Bulacan.In Jakarta, the new concert date will be held on December 29, while the Bulacan date has been added to March 16 next year. The Jakarta concert run was only meant to be two nights long as per the originally shared schedule, to be held on December 26 and 27 at Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium. However, because of popular demand, a new date was added on.Similarly with the Philippine concert in Bulacan, the tour dates had been set to March 13 and 14 at the Philippine Sports Stadium. However, another concert will be held at the same venue on March 16.This is not the first time this year that the group announced that they will be adding new tour dates to ‘ARIRANG’ world tour. A few weeks ago, it was revealed that new shows have been added for many other locations, including Tampa, Florida; Stanford, California; and Las Vegas. Other than that, more shows were also added for Lima, Peru; Santiago, Chile; Buenos Aires, Argentina; and Melbourne, Australia.The group last took the stage over the weekend at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium. Next in line, they will be travelling all the way to Madrid in order to perform on June 26 and 27.
