The hype around Marvel’s upcoming ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ only seems to be geting stronger with the film now just 100 days away from its release.After wrapping up reshoots, the film, directed by the Russo brothers, is now said to have undergone another test screening and it already has audiences raving about it. Although the reported audience score has not been independently confirmed, as per the latest buzz, the ratings are already said to be much higher than ‘Avengers: Endgame’, which also happens to be the MCU’s highest-grossing film to date.

‘Avengers: Doomsday’ better than ‘Avengers: Endgame’

The claim comes from entertainment scooper MyTimeToShineHello, who said in a post, “Good news: a source reached out. While there was a feud, it has been resolved, and there are currently no issues with Doomsday,” the account posted. “In fact, another test screening was held, also featuring an unfinished post-credits scene that was just filmed. You’re probably going to hear all about it soon from trades and such. Movie scored higher than Endgame.The post has since been picked up by several entertainment outlets.

‘Avengers: Doomsday’ wraps reshoots

The latest report comes amid buzz about the film’s reshoots that are reportedly set to add more superhero characters to the film.‘Doomsday’ is being directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, who previously helmed ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and ‘Avengers: Endgame’. The film brings together an ensemble cast of MCU characters from the X-Men to the Avengers, Fantastic Four, Black Panther, the New Avengers and many more. The film also marks Robert Downey Jr.’s return to the franchise, this time as Victor von Doom, also known as Doctor Doom.

The film will compete with ‘Avengers: Endgame’, which currently is the second highest-grossing film of all time. The 2019 film went on to gross approximately USD 2.8 billion worldwide and became one of the biggest theatrical releases in history.
