Dressed in traditional cricket whites, the actor is seen charging in for his run-up and delivering the ball, clearly enjoying his time on the pitch. The video is now going viral on social media.

The video showcased Saif Ali Khan running in to bowl, dressed in classic white cricket clothes. He can be seen bowling and then managed to stop the batter from taking a quick run. Throughout the clip, he looked like he was having a great time playing on the field.
At 55, Saif Ali Khan looked completely at ease while playing the game. For the uninitiated, the actor’s father, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, was one of India’s most celebrated cricketers, while his grandfather, Iftikhar Ali Khan Pataudi, captained the Indian cricket team in 1946 and also played Test cricket for England in 1932 and 1934.

Earlier, Saif Ali Khan’s son Taimur Ali Khan attended private cricket coaching sessions at the Lord’s Cricket Ground indoor nets in London, conducted by the ICM Cricket Academy under former England cricketer Usman Afzaal. In a video shared by the academy, Saif can be heard explaining the family’s cricketing history to Taimur: “Counties are like clubs, such as Sussex and Worcestershire. Your great-grandfather played for Worcestershire, and your grandfather captained Sussex,” he said.The coach, intrigued by the details, asked Saif, “Is that right?” to which the actor nodded in confirmation.

On the work front, Saif Ali Khan will next be seen in Priyadarshan’s thriller ‘Haiwaan’, marking his on-screen reunion with Akshay Kumar after 18 years. The film also stars Boman Irani, Saiyami Kher and Shriya Pilgaonkar in key roles and is set to release in theatres on September 11.
