Thalapathy Vijay’s much awaited film ‘Jana Nayagan’ has received an ‘A’ certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). After getting the censor clearance, the makers shared a brand new official poster of the film.

The production house earlier shared one of Vijay’s famous dialogues from the film. It read, “I am comingggg.” Finally sharing the poster, the makers wrote, “See you soon in theatres nanba & nanbis.”The newly released poster shows Vijay in a fierce look. He is seen holding a whip while standing in front of a huge crowd.Vijay also posted the new official poster on his X handle. CBFC gives ‘A’ certificate
Speaking about the film, ‘Jana Nayagan’ is being called Vijay’s final big-screen film before he fully enters politics. The film was first planned for release in January this year. However, it was delayed because it was waiting for CBFC clearance. During the delay, the makers also faced a major setback after some scenes from the film were leaked online in April.
About ‘Jana Nayagan’
Talking about the story of the film, it follows the story of Thalapathy Vetri Kondan, a former official and convict. He adopts a young girl named Viji and wants to make her brave and independent. Even though she is afraid of violence, he encourages her to join the military.

Along with Vijay, ‘Jana Nayagan’ stars Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Mamitha Baiju, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Narain, Priyamani and Sunil in important roles. Directors Atlee, Nelson Dilipkumar and Lokesh Kanagaraj are also expected to appear in special cameo roles.Sathyan Sooryan has handled the cinematography, while Pradeep E. Ragav has done the editing.According to the film’s UK distributor, ‘Jana Nayagan’ is expected to release in theatres on July 24.
