Actress Srinidhi Shetty became popular with the ‘KGF’ franchise and is gearing up for the release of ‘Aadarsha Kutumbam House No. 47’, starring Venkatesh Daggubati and directed by Trivikram Srinivas. Ahead of its theatrical release, the actress addressed the buzz around her that she demands Rs 7–8 crore as remuneration for a film. She dismissed the reports as rumours.In a conversation with SCREEN, while discussing her upcoming film, Srinidhi Shetty said she has acted in only a few films so far and questioned how she could demand such a large amount.“After the success of the KGF films, they say that I am asking for Rs 7 to Rs 8 crore. I have acted in few films so far. When that is the case, how can I ask for such a huge amount as remuneration? So, it is just a rumour,” she said.
Srinidhi Shetty says money is not her priority
Srinidhi Shetty also shared that earning money has never been her only goal. She added that she could have worked in many more films if money had been her main motivation, but she prefers choosing projects based on their stories and characters.“If earning money was my only goal, I could have acted in 30 to 40 films over the last few years. But I do not sign films just for money. I give priority to good stories and quality characters,” she added.The actress has appeared in six films over eight years and admitted that she would like to work more frequently. “I am pretty instinctive with scripts. I want to do more films but they are not coming to me,” she said.
Srinidhi Shetty responds to ‘AK47’ and ‘Blast’ comparisons
During the interaction, Srinidhi Shetty also addressed comparisons between ‘Aadarsha Kutumbam House No. 47’ and the recently released film ‘Blast’. She said the two films are not similar in their stories, even though both feature family elements and action.“There are no similarities between the two films. Just because both of these films have family elements and action involved, people think they are the same. But that is not true,” she said.She explained that films belonging to the same genre are often compared, but that does not mean their stories are alike. The actress also revealed that ‘AK47’ marks her first attempt at comedy.“This is the first time I have done comedy. I have never done comedy before. So I don’t know how it will come out. It is a good blend of crime, comedy and dark comedy,” she said.
Srinidhi Shetty on playing mother in ‘Aadarsha Kutumbam’
Srinidhi Shetty also spoke about playing a mother early in her career, saying she had no hesitation about taking on the role. She explained that she does not want to limit herself to one type of character or genre.

The film also stars Nara Rohith, Nivetha Pethuraj, Yuvina, Raj Prajwal, Rao Ramesh, Satya, Brahmaji, Vennela Kishore and Raghu Babu in key roles.‘Aadarsha Kutumbam House No: 47’ was originally announced for release on October 2 during Gandhi Jayanti but was later shifted to October 9. Now it is set to hit the big screens on October 30, 2026.
