Sonakshi Sinha has once again voiced her displeasure over intrusive paparazzi behaviour. After attending Akansha Ranjan and Sharan Sharma‘s wedding reception in Mumbai, the actress firmly asked photographers to stop following her as she made her way to her car. A paparazzi video of the incident has since gone viral on social media.
Sonakshi asks photographers to maintain boundaries
As Sonakshi exited the venue, photographers continued walking alongside her and gathered around her vehicle. The actress initially thanked them for the photographs before requesting them to step back. She said, “Bas guys, abhi gaadi ke andar nahi hai. Ho gaya. Thank you. Bye. Good night.” (“That’s enough, guys. I’m not inside the car yet. That’s it. Thank you. Bye. Good night)When the photographers continued waiting around her car, Sonakshi made her stance even clearer, saying, “Jab tak aap nahi jaoge, main nahi baithungi.” This is not the first time Sonakshi has addressed the issue publicly. Just last week, she urged photographers to stop filming her parents, Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha, after the family stepped out following a dinner outing.Her husband, Zaheer Iqbal, also attempted to calm the situation by requesting the paparazzi to stop recording. However, when they continued filming, Sonakshi once again intervened and said, “Bas, guys. Thank you. Good night!”
Neha Dhupia also raised concerns
Sonakshi is not the only celebrity to speak out against invasive photography. Recently, Neha Dhupia criticised paparazzi for taking what she described as inappropriate “back shots” during a public appearance.Expressing her frustration, Neha said, “Yeh badtameezi se backshot kaun leta hai tumlog me se? Kaun leta hai? Band karo.” (Who among you is taking these disrespectful back shots? Who is doing it? Stop it)She further added, “Do not do it to me. Do not do it to anyone. We are tired of saying this over and over. Picking up bags and books, walking backwards, none of that will work anymore. Put a stop to all this. We speak to you all with great respect. Do not do this.”
