‘Sigma’ Day 1 language-wise collection

The Tamil version contributed Rs 1.50 cr to the opening-day India net. It recorded 37.0% occupancy across 925 shows. The Telugu version collected Rs 85 lakhs net. It registered 25.0% occupancy across 888 shows. The two versions together generated Rs 2.35 cr in India net earnings on Day 1. The film also recorded 221,679 footfalls during its opening day.

Tamil and Telugu versions record different occupancy

The Tamil version of ‘Sigma’ registered an overall occupancy of 50.10% on Day 1. Morning shows recorded 35.69% occupancy. Afternoon shows registered 46.69%.The evening shows recorded 39.69% occupancy. Night shows performed higher at 51.69%. The Telugu version recorded an overall occupancy of 25.94%. Its morning shows registered 21.00%. The afternoon occupancy stood at 29.60%. The Telugu version recorded 31.10% occupancy during evening shows. Night shows registered 15.90%.

‘Sigma’ state-wise gross collection

Tamil Nadu emerged as the biggest contributor to ‘Sigma’ on its opening day. The state recorded a gross collection of Rs 1.30 cr. Andhra Pradesh and Telangana together contributed Rs 1.00 cr. Karnataka added Rs 25 lakhs to the gross collection.Kerala contributed Rs 12 lakhs. The rest of India accounted for Rs 3 lakhs. The combined figures took the film’s India gross to Rs 2.70 cr.

‘Baththa’ jumps on Day 2

Meanwhile, Vijay Sethupathi’s ‘Baththa’ recorded stronger earnings on its second day. The movie collected Rs 2.70 cr net in India on October 2, according to Sacnilk.The film registered the Day 2 figure across 1,187 shows. Its overall occupancy stood at 47.0%. ‘Baththa’ had opened with Rs 1.50 cr net on October 1. Its Day 2 collection therefore marked an 80.0% increase over its first-day earnings. The movie’s India gross collection reached Rs 4.88 cr after two days. Its India net total stood at Rs 4.20 cr.The film recorded 220,138 footfalls on Day 2. Its cumulative footfalls after two days reached 349,662.

‘Baththa’ occupancy and state-wise figures

The Tamil version of ‘Baththa’ recorded 51.11% overall occupancy on Day 2. Morning shows registered 23.36%, while afternoon shows recorded 57.64%.Evening shows recorded 50.55% occupancy. The night shows registered 67.91%, which was the highest among the four time slots. Tamil Nadu contributed Rs 2.65 cr to the Day 2 gross. Karnataka added Rs 32 lakhs, while Kerala contributed Rs 15 lakhs.Andhra Pradesh and Telangana together recorded Rs 3 lakhs.
