The Madhubala biopic has been one of Bollywood’s most talked-about upcoming projects. Several media reports suggest that Sara Arjun, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Sai Pallavi, and Aneet Padda were all approached to play the iconic actress. Most recently, reports pointed to Aneet Padda being a strong contender for the role.The biopic is being helmed by Jasmeet K. Reen, best known for directing the acclaimed Netflix film ‘Darlings’. Sharvari will next be seen in Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Main Vaapas Aaunga’, set for a theatrical release on June 12, 2026. She also stars in Aditya Chopra-backed ambitious first female spy film ‘Alpha’ alongside Alia Bhatt, which has been rescheduled and will now release on July 10, 2026.Additionally, Sharvari has ‘Munjya 2’ and an as-yet-untitled film with Ayushmann Khurrana in the pipeline, which also features veteran actors Anupam Kher, Seema Pahwa, and Supriya Pathak in key roles. The film went on floors in Mumbai on November 1, with shooting visuals from a railway station going viral on social media.The actress was last seen in the film ‘Vedaa’, co-starring John Abraham. The film was released in the year 2024.
