Salman Khan’s tweets (now X posts) and Instagram captions are a goldmine of quirk, wit and his signature style that the internet can’t help but be fascinated by. Be it his ‘It’s done bro’ caption for Sonam Wangchuk, his unique take on loneliness, or the latest, his heartfelt note for Sanjay Dutt, aka Sanju Baba, the actor never fails to amaze with his signature writing style. You never know what the next tweet or Insta caption will be about. Now, the wise words of Salman Khan are available as a collection in a book, all thanks to two students.

Minds behind ‘Bhai ke Dohe‘ book

Indore-based Pratham Solanki, 21, and Pune-based Soham Bodke, 22, turned Salman Khan’s tweets and Insta captions into a book named ‘Bhai Ke Dohe’ and released it last month. What started as a plan on a whim suddenly became quite popular on social media, and they are surprised by the response. “My plan was to make a book for myself, not to sell it, but when I put it on Story, there was a great response,” Pratham told the Hindustan Times.Sharing the inspiration behind the book that chronicles the thoughts that Salman has put out in the virtual world, Pratham said, “Main bachpan se Salman sir ka fan hun, to is liye ye book ka idea aaya tha. Wo koi AI ya professional language use nahin karte. Wo apne mann ki baat jaise unke dil mein aati hai, waise hi likhte hain (I’ve been a fan of Salman sir since childhood, and that’s how the idea for this book came to me. He doesn’t use AI or any professional language. He simply writes whatever comes to his mind, exactly as it comes from his heart).”Soham added, “That’s what sets him apart from other stars, and that is what us Gen-Z also loves; being real and authentic. Bhai is actually real.”The demand for the book has grown, with their first lot selling out within a day. That is something they didn’t expect. “I had to shift from Indore to Pune,” Pratham laughed as Soham added, “For 48 hours, we didn’t sleep as we were just packing and shipping the orders. By the time our first lot was sold out, Bhai tweeted, ‘It’s done bro’, so we added that too in the book.”As time goes by, the duo is hoping to gather more material for a sequel, which they feel is possible. For now, they just have one wish. Soham shared, “We are really hoping that Salman sir tak pahunch jaye ye book.” Pratham quipped, “Hamara to plan tha unke ghar tak pahucha dein ek book, par abhi security zyada hi tight hai.”
