Prince Harry was put on the spot after he was asked who he thinks the UK’s ‘top Harry’ is. Taking the mantle for having one of the most popular names in the region, the royal surprised everyone with his choice during one of his latest interviews, where he even reunited with reality TV show host James Corden. Prince Harry weighs in on who the best Harry is in the UK
During his scheduled UK visit, Prince Harry took some time out of his trip to reunite with James Corden. Appearing during one of the latest episodes of Corden’s sports reality talk show, ‘After Hours’, the prince talked about the recent FIFA World Cup development and Spain and Argentina’s face-off. Not only that, but because of his name, Corden brought back the “who’s the best Harry in the UK’ debate, which he had earlier started with former footballer Rio Ferdinand.Star striker Harry Kane had inspired Ferdinand to start the ranking; however, his list had pop icon Harry Styles at the top of the list. When the Prince was finally put on the spot, he joked about the situation and commented, “There’s a conflict of interest here!” However, he later agreed that the ‘Aperture’ singer took the top spot, and rightfully so.Ferdinand’s list then followed along with Harry Potter, Harry Kane, and Prince Harry, which the Prince rearranged to make Kane take the second spot after Styles, while he tied the third position between him and the fictional Hogwarts character. Playing a joke on the list, he commented, “And we’ll have a Quidditch off.” As for the Prince’s connection to the former One Direction singer, he had met the entire band in 2015 during the Royal Variety Performance that year.
James Corden and Prince Harry discuss sports
During their talk show, Corden and the Prince also discussed sports, specifically what happened at the latest FIFA World Cup match that was held over the weekend. The prince also weighed in on what he thought should be done to lead England’s team to the final for the first time in years. England has won the FIFA title only once in 1966.He commented, “I think it’s a mindset; I think that what we saw was a slight shock value for the team. ‘We’re 1-nil up against Argentina, and then there was this immediate temptation to fall into defense…I don’t think that was the plan. It just happened. And you can’t, in 75 minutes, however long it was, try to defend a 1-0 lead against a team like that.”
