While the court granted his mother, Teresita Lavandeira, temporary guardianship of his three children, he had been away from them for most of his recovery. However, according to a recent update, Hilton has officially reunited with his children: Mario, 13, Mia, 11, and Mayte, 8.

According to a recent update shared on the internet personality’s official blog page, Hilton reunited with his children a few weeks ago for a supervised visit. The official statement from his page read, “They were first able to spend time together through a few video calls, and since then, Perez has also been able to see his children and his mom a few times for short, supervised visits at the facility.”The post also included a thank-you note to Perez’s longtime friend, Tom D’Angora, for starting a funding page to ensure his kids’ needs and bills are paid in his absence, and a note to everyone who contributed. The post further shared, “Seeing his children in person has meant an enormous amount to Perez. There have definitely been a lot of emotions for everyone, but being able to spend that time together has been incredibly meaningful and healing.”
Communication with Perez Hilton remains limited
The blog post further revealed that he is still admitted to the medical facility and that communication with the influencer remains “limited.” Another statement added, “We’re not able to talk to him daily. While that’s hard for us and for him, we understand that right now the priority isn’t constant communication with family but rather giving him the time and space to focus on his care and continue making progress. He’s continuing to work with his care team on understanding what led to his mental health crisis, recognising warning signs, learning better ways to cope, and working through everything that brought him to this point.”The post also confirmed that as of right now, they have no ‘timeline’ for when Hilton could be released from the facility and that they are doing what his doctors are telling them to do and “taking it one day at a time.” The post concluded by thanking fans and everyone else for their support and well wishes for Hilton and his family in his time of need.For the unversed, on August 4, while on livestream, Hilton exhibited worrying signs that left many fans in shock. Multiple people called emergency services to his home, after which he was taken to a nearby hospital. Reports at the time revealed that his children had left the home only moments before the livestream incident.
