Greeting the gathered officials for the Draft, the ‘Swag’ singer made his way through the stage to meet NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman.Furthermore, Bieber made a significant announcement about the Penn State forward Gavin McKenna, who was drafted as the top overall pick. “Mr. McKenna, we would like to draft you to the Toronto Maple Leafs,” Bieber said. The clip was shared by the team on X, with the caption, “Biebs making it official.” As for the singer, he stayed on stage to pose with Bettman and McKenna after the selection.

Gavin McKenna, who was named Big 10 freshman of the year at Penn State after completing his first season and ranked fifth in NCAA scoring, was handed the ‘26’ numbered blue jersey at the event.
