The trailer of ‘Nayyi Navelli’ opens in the world of the Awasthi family. Mohini, played by Yami Gautam, arrives as their new bahu (daughter-in-law), and her presence soon raises more questions than answers.The film starts with the familiar feel of an Indian household, with its many personalities, strong opinions and shaadi (wedding) rituals.
