Dulquer Salmaan is returning to Malayalam cinema with ‘I’m Game’, and the film has already recorded a notable figure through advance sales. The Nahas Hidayath directorial has reportedly collected Rs 2.76 crore from its opening-day bookings.According to a report published by Track Bollywood, around 1.59 lakh tickets have been sold ahead of the film’s theatrical release. The pre-release numbers come as Dulquer Salmaan returns to Malayalam cinema after a three-year gap.While ‘I’m Game’ has posted a strong figure, it has not managed to surpass the opening-day pre-sales of Dulquer Salmaan’s 2023 action drama ‘King of Kotha’.
‘I’m Game’ clocks Rs 2.76 crore in advance booking
The advance booking campaign for ‘I’m Game’ began before its theatrical arrival. The film has reportedly sold approximately 1.59 lakh tickets for its first day.Track Bollywood has reported an advance booking collection of Rs 2.76 crore. The figure gives the film a solid base ahead of its opening.Despite its opening-day pre-sales, ‘I’m Game’ remains behind ‘King of Kotha’ when it comes to advance booking. Dulquer Salmaan’s 2023 film had reportedly registered Rs 3.04 crore through its opening-day advance sales.The difference between the two films stands at around Rs 28 lakh. ‘I’m Game’ has therefore come close to the earlier benchmark but has not overtaken it.

Dulquer Salmaan has urged audiences to watch ‘I’m Game’ on the big screen. The actor also suggested that he has intentionally kept several details about the project undisclosed.He wrote, “This is my last word on #ImGame before you experience it tomorrow.I can’t reveal much more at this point. Everything I’ve been holding back, you’ll finally experience on the big screen tomorrow.I truly hope you love the film, the world we’ve created, and the game we’ve played. Dulquer Salmaan has also received a birthday-style show of support from fellow actor Nivin Pauly. The latter is currently enjoying the response to ‘Bethlehem Kudumba Unit’.Nivin Pauly welcomed the release of ‘I’m Game’ and shared his wishes for the film. ‘I’m Game’ gets a five-language release
‘I’m Game’ is directed by Nahas Hidayath and stars Dulquer Salmaan as Dan John. His character is a gambler who places considerable faith in his luck.The film also features Antony Varghese, Mysskin and Kayadu Lohar. The movie was originally scheduled to arrive on August 20. The release was later shifted to September 3. ‘I’m Game’ is releasing in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada.
