Duncan Sheik started his journey into the music scene with his debut single, ‘Barely Breathing,’ which ended up becoming a big hit and even scored him his first Grammy nomination for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance. Since the start of his career, he has dedicatedly worked on creating and performing music and has released nine albums so far.Alongside creating independent music, Sheik also started working as a composer for stage productions and movie soundtracks around the early 2000s. One of his first theatre works was for the 2002 production of ‘Twelfth Night’ for the New York Shakespeare Festival.
