A waterfront mansion in Jupiter, Florida, once built for Canadian singer Celine Dion, has been sold for $12.5 million in an off-market deal. The sprawling Mediterranean-style property, located in the exclusive Admirals Cove community, was originally designed and built for the Grammy-winning singer in 1998.The sale marks a significant real estate transaction for the luxury housing market in South Florida. The 14,750-square-foot mansion was previously listed for $20 million in May before being taken off the market in August, according to The Real Deal.Local investor Myron Miller purchased the property at 370 Eagle Drive for approximately $847 per square foot. The seller was an entity linked to Edward St. John, the founder and chairman of Baltimore-based St. John Properties.

The waterfront residence was built for Celine Dion in 1998, reflecting a Mediterranean architectural style with expansive interiors and luxury amenities. The singer owned the property until 2002, when she sold it for $9 million, according to property records. The mansion later changed hands in June 2021, when an entity linked to St. John acquired it for $7.6 million. The latest $12.5 million transaction represents an increase of approximately 64 per cent over the 2021 purchase price.Although the property was marketed for $20 million earlier this year, the final transaction was completed off-market. Seller’s agent Rob Thomson of Waterfront Properties highlighted the home’s history in a social media post and indicated that the residence was unlikely to be demolished.

According to buyer’s agent Willie Abreu of the Nicolas Group at Serhant, the community’s lifestyle offerings played a significant role in the purchase.“My buyer is huge into golf and has kids, so he loves that the community is gated, and he’s able to get everywhere on a golf cart,” Abreu said, according to Mansion Global. He also highlighted the community’s amenities, including its gym, restaurants and pools, describing the experience as “basically resort living”.The property’s waterfront location and private dock were additional attractions for Miller, who is an investor and an avid golfer.Thomson has also described Admirals Cove as a community with such extensive amenities that it feels like a “Disney for adults”. The neighbourhood has attracted several high-profile residents over the years, including Donald Trump Jr., professional golfer Dustin Johnson and Major League Baseball star Max Scherzer.
