BTS celebrates Jungkook's birthday at LA concert; birthday boy's sweet gesture towards disable fan wins hearts

BTS turned Jungkook’s birthday into a memorable celebration during the Los Angeles stop of their ARIRANG world tour. RM, Jimin, J-Hope, V and Suga got together on stage to surprise the singer by crooning the birthday song and also putting up a special performance of the fan-favourite song ‘Magic Shop’.The concert, the BTS members came together to celebrate their youngest member on stage. Jimin also added to the festivities by placing a crown on Jungkook’s head, prompting the birthday boy to take a dramatic bow.Jungkook, however, went on to create one of the most talked-about moments of the night himself. During the concert, the singer made his way off the stage towards a female fan in a wheelchair. In a heartwarming gesture, he took off his shirt and handed it to the fan before removing his crown and placing it on her head. Videos of the sweet exchange have since circulated widely on social media, prompting an outpouring of love and affection from ARMY.The Los Angeles concerts are part of BTS’ ongoing ARIRANG world tour, which marks the group’s return to large-scale live performances together. The tour began in April and is scheduled to continue through 2027.The last time that the band was in LA, was during their four in-person ‘BTS Permission To Dance On Stage’ gigs that took place at the SoFi Stadium in November and December 2021. The event marked the first stage concert for the Grammy-nominated group since the ‘2019 BTS World Tour Love Yourself: Speak Yourself The Final’.
