Why Aaron Paul moved from Los Angeles to Paris
Paul’s decision to sell his Los Angeles home comes after he and his family relocated to Paris following the January 2025 wildfires in the Los Angeles area.Speaking to the Daily Mail in November last year, the Breaking Bad actor explained that the fires prompted the family to reconsider their life in Los Angeles.“When the fires happened in LA, we just knew that we were done with LA, so we sold our house in LA and moved to Paris,” Paul said. “Paris is awesome.”The actor said he and his wife, Lauren Parsekian, had always dreamed of spending a year abroad and decided to make the move for their children.“We just always wanted to be around a completely different culture,” Paul added.
Aaron Paul said the home was a ‘safe haven’ for his family
Despite selling the property, Paul has spoken warmly about his years at the Los Angeles residence.According to People, the actor previously described the home as a “safe haven” for his family and said they felt fortunate to have experienced so much life there.“We will forever hold this home and its history close to our hearts,” Paul said.Paul shares two children with wife Lauren Parsekian – eight-year-old daughter Story Annabelle and four-year-old son Ryden Caspian.
