Ahead of the release of ‘Avengers: Doomsday,’ Marvel confirmed that ‘Avengers: Endgame’ will be re-released next month for fans to watch. Now that the encore video is released, fans have officially shown their excitement by setting a big viewership record.

Deadline reported that within the first 24 hours of its release on online streaming platforms, the ‘Avengers: Endgame: Encore’ trailer reached a whopping 77 million views! A testament to fan excitement for the ‘Doomsday’ release, the trailer broke a major viewership record. It recorded four times more views than any previous trailer re-release.The record was previously held by ‘Top Gun,’ originally released in 1986, which scored 19 million views during the May 2026 re-release for a one-week 40th anniversary celebration along with ‘Top Gun: Maverick.’ Behind this, the first ‘Avatar’ re-release trailer scored 14 million views, while the re-release trailer for Titanic got 13 million views.

‘Endgame’ is officially being re-released in theatres worldwide on September 25 to celebrate the legacy of the Avengers and give fans a taste of what is to come in December. The 1 minute and 36 seconds long trailer provided fans with a sense of nostalgia and a trip back to April 26, 2019, when the film was originally released.
