Ahaan Panday, who made his Bollywood debut with Mohit Suri’s ‘Saiyaara’, lives with his parents Chikki and Deanne Panday in a sprawling four-storey mansion in Bandra, Mumbai. A home tour shared by his sister Alanna Panday on her YouTube channel, Alanna & Ivor, back in 2025, offered a glimpse of the family residence, including its spacious front yard, multiple living areas, staff flats, outdoor spaces and Ahaan’s gaming room.Alanna revealed during the tour that the family had previously lived in a joint-family setup with her uncle Chunky Panday’s family, including Ananya and Rysa Panday. The families eventually moved into separate homes as the children grew older. The sprawling property also hosted several of Alanna’s wedding festivities, including her engagement, bridal shower and haldi ceremony. Parts of the residence were also featured in Amazon Prime Video’s ‘The Tribe’.
A huge front yard surrounded by greenery
The home opens into a spacious front yard filled with plants and outdoor seating. A large dining table occupies the centre of the space, while another seating area has been built around a tree. Alanna explained that the family has always loved nature, which is reflected in the greenery spread throughout the property. The outdoor area has also served as the setting for several family celebrations. The house follows a largely calm, neutral aesthetic, with earthy tones, contemporary furniture and plenty of artwork and decorative pieces. Earlier reports based on Alanna’s home tour described the interiors as having a boho-chic and understated look.
Ahaan Panday’s family home also has separate flats for staff
One of the more unusual features of the property is the accommodation provided for the household staff.Alanna explained that her father, Chikki Panday, had separate flats constructed for the staff working at the house. She said, “My dad made these for them because if they lived inside the house, they wouldn’t have a place they could call their own. This way they can decorate it the way they like and make the place feel more personal.”The staff quarters form a separate part of the property, giving the employees their own living spaces.
Multiple living rooms and a decorative pool
Inside the main house, Alanna showed viewers a decorative pool near the entrance. However, it had been emptied because the family’s pets had effectively claimed it.According to Alanna, the “pets think that it’s their own pool”, which is why the family no longer fills it with water.The house also features multiple living rooms facing each other. Alanna explained that the family frequently has guests over, making additional seating areas useful for gatherings.There is also a formal dining area, although Alanna jokingly described the main dining table as “useless” because family members often eat at different times. The table is primarily used for formal dinners and larger gatherings.
The house has outdoor spaces and extensive security
As Alanna continued the tour across the different floors, she showed several outdoor areas and spoke about her father’s extensive security measures.She said Chikki Panday has cameras and fingerprint scanners installed around the property, adding, “He has cameras and fingerprint scanners everywhere; he is a little bit paranoid. Whenever we are working around the house, I and Ivor always say, ‘Chikki is watching.’”The property’s fingerprint-access system also became a playful part of the tour. Since Alanna now lives in Los Angeles with her husband Ivor McCray, she said she did not have fingerprint access to the house anymore. Ivor joked, “But my fingerprint works, so I got it; don’t worry.”
Ahaan Panday has a dedicated gaming room
One of the most distinctive spaces in the house is Ahaan’s gaming room. Unlike the rest of the residence, which follows a relatively calm and coordinated design aesthetic, the gaming room has a more casual feel.Alanna explained that the room “doesn’t match the vibe of the rest of the house because Ahaan and his friends hang out there.”The upper floors also feature additional bedrooms and living spaces. The third floor was designed as a separate space for Alanna and Ivor when they visit Mumbai, with a bedroom, makeup room and living area that also doubles as a makeshift office.
Ahaan Panday refuses to let Alanna show his bedroom
Ahaan himself briefly appeared during the home tour when Alanna attempted to show his bedroom.When she asked whether they could enter, Ahaan opened the door and said, “You want to show everyone my room? I think you will like it; it’s very beautiful right now. Just give me one second.”He then promptly shut and locked the door, leaving Alanna unable to continue the tour of his personal space.
Ahaan Panday’s Bollywood journey after ‘Saiyaara’
Ahaan Panday made his acting debut alongside Aneet Padda in Mohit Suri’s ‘Saiyaara’, which released in theatres on July 18, 2025. The romantic drama marked the beginning of his film career and brought considerable attention to the newcomer. His next project is an untitled action entertainer directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and backed by Yash Raj Films. Ahaan began shooting for the film in April 2026, marking his first project after ‘Saiyaara’. Meanwhile, Ahaan is also set to reunite with Aneet Padda and Mohit Suri for another untitled romantic film backed by Yash Raj Films. The project is described as a mature love story with action elements and is expected to begin filming in Mumbai in October 2026 before moving to Goa.
