Aamir Khan stepped in to resolve Ranveer Singh and Farhan Akhtar's ‘Don 3’ feud, reveals FWICE's Ashoke Pandit
FWICE’s Ashoke Pandit revealed that Aamir Khan and several Bollywood insiders tried to resolve the feud between Ranveer Singh and Farhan Akhtar over ‘Don 3’. Farhan claims a Rs 45 crore loss, while reports of Salman Khan’s involvement were dismissed as rumours.

Ranveer Singh‘s alleged sudden exit from ‘Don 3’ seems to have set off a chain of events that shows no sign of slowing down. The rift between him and Farhan Akhtar has only grown wider, spilling into legal territory and drawing FWICE into the middle of it all. Now, the saga has taken yet another unexpected turn. FWICE’s chief adviser, Ashoke Pandit, revealed that the conflict stirred enough concern within the industry that several big names, including Aamir Khan, quietly stepped in behind the scenes to make peace between the two.

Speaking to Hindi Rush, Ashoke Pandit said, “Many people from the industry, including Aamir Khan, had been trying to resolve the issue before it came to us. That also didn’t work. Today it’s Ranveer Singh. Tomorrow it could be someone else. This is what Excel is going through. If it was someone else, they would have gone to hell.”

Ashoke also spoke about the money lost due to such decisions and said, “They would have sold their house. You may have ten valid reasons for not doing a film. But if money has been spent because you committed to the project, then those losses should be reimbursed.” Farhan has said that he lost Rs 45 crore after Ranveer walked out of Don 3. Ashoke stressed that it does not matter how big a star someone is, no one should be allowed to suddenly back out of a project they have already agreed to do.

Did Salman Khan try to play peacemaker in Ranveer Singh and Farhan Akhtar’s feud?

There were also reports suggesting that Salman Khan had personally intervened and tried to resolve the dispute between Farhan and Ranveer, driven by his close bond with the Akhtar family. However, those claims did not hold up for long. Later reports rubbished the story entirely, clarifying that Salman had no involvement in the matter whatsoever and that the peacemaker narrative was nothing more than a rumour.

How Ranveer Singh and Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Don 3’ dispute turned into a legal battle

The ‘Don 3’ fallout between Ranveer and Farhan has snowballed into one of the biggest controversies Bollywood has seen in recent times. Multiple online reports suggest that Ranveer walked out of the film over creative differences with the makers, with several accounts also pointing to his frustration over repeated production delays and the lack of a finalised script. What many assumed would be a simple casting change has since spiralled into a full-blown legal battle. Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment has sought Rs 45 crore in compensation, while the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) issued a non-cooperation directive against Ranveer, though that directive has since been revoked.
