New testing network aims to reduce travel for candidates, especially in smaller cities

NEW DELHI: As the Centre moves to overhaul public examinations, exam-security company Innovatiview India has announced an investment of Rs 1,000 crore over the next 18 months to develop standardised testing centres, targeting capacity for one lakh candidates in a single session by March 2028.The company’s Aadarsh Pariksha Kendra network envisages around 150 centres across 100 cities, particularly in tier-II and tier-III locations where inadequate facilities often force candidates to travel long distances. The investment will be financed through 60% debt and 40% equity. Ashish Mittal, founder and whole-time director, Innovatiview, said the proposed network would enable about one lakh candidates to take examinations on computers simultaneously by March 2028.
