The action thriller earned Rs 25.70 cr in India net collections from 11,954 shows. This marked a 6.4% rise over the previous day’s earnings. The film’s worldwide gross has now reached Rs 710.35 cr, according to Sacnilk.
‘Jailer 2’ marks growth on Sunday
The film has accumulated Rs 398.70 cr in India net collections, while its domestic gross stands at Rs 466.85 cr. Overseas markets contributed Rs 10 cr on Sunday, taking the cumulative international gross to Rs 243.50 cr. The film averaged Rs 21,499 per show during the day. However, its latest collection remains below its opening-day record of Rs 59.70 cr.After collecting Rs 334.35 cr in its opening week, ‘Jailer 2’ maintained its momentum during the second weekend. Friday brought in Rs 14.50 cr from 10,484 shows, with occupancy at 26.7%. Saturday’s collection increased to Rs 24.15 cr across 11,591 shows, recording 35.8% occupancy. Evening shows reached 52%, while afternoon, night and morning screenings registered 39.58%, 35.17% and 22%, respectively. The Hindi 2D version recorded 25.30% overall occupancy. Evening shows led at 30.25%, followed by night at 28.83%, afternoon at 26.58% and morning at 14.50%.
Karnataka follows Tamil Nadu in state-wise gross
Tamil Nadu led the state-wise gross collection report with Rs 12.75 cr, accounting for 42.4% of the reported total. Karnataka ranked second with Rs 5.50 cr, representing 18.3%. The APTG region contributed Rs 4.75 cr, while Kerala added Rs 3.30 cr.
