Telugu actor Sharwanand has joined hands with director Srinu Vaitla for the upcoming film ‘George Krish’. The film is being presented as a fun-filled family entertainer and is set to release during the Sankranthi festival next year.

On the occasion of Srinu Vaitla’s birthday, the makers unveiled the first video glimpse from the film. Titled “First Booster”, the video gives a glimpse of the humour and entertaining situations in the film.Talking about the film, the one minute teaser, shows Sharwanand in two different religious avatars. He plays George, a Christian character, and Krish, a Hindu character. Sharwanand is seen completely immersed in devotion in both avatars. His different looks, expressions and the contrasting situations create curiosity about how the two characters are connected.
Manasa Varanasi plays the female lead
Manasa Varanasi known for her his recent film ‘Couple Friendly’ plays the female lead opposite Sharwanand.‘George Krish’ marks the first collaboration between Sharwanand and Sreenu Vaitla. The title poster released earlier showed a tiny silhouette of Sharwanand lifting the heroine in his arms as part of the title design.
Release date of ‘George Krish’
The film is currently being shot in Hyderabad and is scheduled to have a worldwide theatrical release on January 14, 2027, during the Sankranthi festival.

Anup Rubens is composing the music, while KV Guhan is handling the cinematography. Avinash Kolla is the production designer and Amar Reddy Kudumula is the editor.
