Kesha has sold her sprawling Los Angeles mansion for $6.68 million, nearly two years after she first attempted to offload the property. The sale gives the pop star a profit of almost $1.7 million on the Mar Vista home, which she purchased in 2020 for $4.95 million.The 39-year-old singer, whose full name is Kesha Rose Sebert, first listed the ultramodern property in March 2024 for $5.95 million. She had bought the home just four years earlier, paying $4.95 million for the contemporary residence.The listing was pulled from the market within weeks. Kesha returned with the property in March this year, this time setting a considerably higher asking price of $7 million. The mansion was also offered as a rental, with a monthly asking price of $35,000.According to property records by Realtor, the home eventually found a buyer, with the transaction closing on May 19 for $6.68 million. While the final figure fell short of Kesha’s $7 million asking price, it represents a sizeable gain over her original purchase price.The singer stands to make just under $1.7 million on paper from the sale, before taxes, commissions and other transaction-related expenses.

The design is built around the idea of blurring the boundaries between the house and its outdoor surroundings.Large sliding glass doors on the main level open directly onto the backyard, where a pool and patio create an extension of the living space. Multiple decks are positioned across the home’s various levels, with several bedrooms offering direct outdoor access.Built in 2018, the main residence spans just under 6,000 square feet and combines sharp contemporary architecture with warmer wooden details. A dramatic staircase with glass railings serves as one of the property’s focal points, while a glass-enclosed wine storage area adds another distinctive touch.The open-plan main living area connects the living room, dining space and kitchen. The latter features a 14-foot island, quartz countertops and high-end appliances. Wide-plank hardwood flooring and expansive windows help bring natural light into the interiors.

The estate comes with a 40-foot swimming pool, spa and built-in barbecue station, while the multi-level rooftop deck offers 360-degree views of the surrounding area. A fire pit and multiple seating areas turn the rooftop into another entertainment zone.

Listing photographs taken during her ownership showed colorful rugs, artwork and layered textures that softened the property’s minimalist lines.A den featured a built-in fireplace alongside vibrant furnishings and artwork, while the adjoining dining area opened toward the kitchen. A second living room provided another informal gathering space.The singer’s primary bedroom was dominated by a California king-sized bed, with décor that nodded to her music career and distinctive personal style. Among the more unusual touches was a mannequin dressed in a studded leather jacket.Her fashion sensibility was also apparent in the expansive walk-in closet, which featured three storage islands and ample room for her wardrobe.Elsewhere, Kesha had turned one of the bedrooms into a music room, complete with a keyboard, drum kit and patterned sofa. Another room was dedicated to fitness and wellness and included workout equipment and a home sauna.

The sale of Kesha’s Los Angeles home comes as the singer appears to be contemplating a move north.During a surprise DJ set in San Francisco earlier this month, Kesha told the crowd, “I’m moving to San Francisco.” Whether she has already purchased a home in the city remains unclear.Her apparent relocation plans come at a significant point in her career. The mansion sale was completed just days before the launch of her Freedom Tour, which begins on May 23.Kesha announced the tour on March 24, framing it as a celebration of reclaiming her voice, body and joy after years of personal and professional upheaval.“This summer we are reclaiming our bodies, our voices, and our joy. We have survived. Now we get to be free. Let’s be free together. I want to know what freedom feels like, with all of you,” she said at the time.She later described the tour as a reflection of what comes after surviving difficult experiences, saying she had “lived through the fire” and that freedom was about discovering how those experiences had shaped her.
