Abhay Verma talks about his six-year bond with Aneet Padda
Abhay Verma shared that his friendship with Aneet Padda goes back several years, having first met her on the sets of a commercial. He said, “Aneet and I go back a long way, roughly six years. We did a Cadbury commercial, and we hit it off. She’s from Amritsar, and I’m from Panipat, which are [culturally] very similar. She has a great sense of humour, and that’s where we bonded. I’m so proud of her. She’s a beautiful actor. There’s no way she didn’t deserve the love that came her way. She deserves all of it and more,” he said.Speaking about the camaraderie among young actors today, Abhay said, “I believe that we, young actors, don’t really have that sense of competition among us. We respect each other’s dreams. We know the kind of stakes that are on us and the value of opportunities. That’s why we respect the opportunities each of us gets.”He added, “We’re all here to serve a bigger purpose, which is to entertain the audience. What we’ve among us is beautiful. I speak to all them. I was recently speaking to Pratibha [Ranta], Rohit [Saraf] and Bhuvan [Bam] about The Revolutionaries.”
