The deleted posts reportedly include pictures from their engagement celebrations as well as their Maldives vacation, prompting widespread discussion across social media.Neither Kinjal nor Dhruvin has commented on the matter so far. Engagement announcement won hearts
Kinjal Dave and Dhruvin Shah announced their engagement on December 6, 2025, after being together for several years. The celebrations began with a mehendi ceremony and a musical evening attended by family members and close friends. Their engagement ceremony took place the following day and was followed by a grand celebration featuring several prominent personalities from the Gujarati music industry.Kinjal also shared an emotional video from the celebrations on Facebook with the caption, “God’s Plan.” The video captured several memorable moments from the occasion, including a dance performance with her father, Lalit Dave, which quickly became popular online. Deleted Instagram posts spark speculation
The couple frequently shared glimpses of their relationship through photographs and videos on social media. Their vacation in the Maldives received particular attention, with romantic pictures and videos attracting thousands of likes and comments from fans. One of their posts carried the caption, “Love Entering 2026,” as they celebrated the beginning of a new year together. However, in recent weeks, followers observed that many of those photographs had been removed from both Kinjal and Dhruvin’s Instagram profiles. Images from their engagement celebrations and Maldives trip were among the posts that disappeared. Despite the growing speculation, neither Kinjal nor Dhruvin has explained why the photographs were deleted.
Relationship previously faced controversy
Even before the recent speculation, the couple’s engagement had attracted significant public attention. Kinjal belongs to the Audichya Brahmin community, while Dhruvin comes from a different caste. Following the announcement, the Panch Pargana Audichya Brahma Samaj reportedly imposed a lifelong social boycott on Kinjal, her father and their family. The decision was taken during a community meeting in Shihori, Kankrej, and was said to apply across more than 200 villages.Despite the backlash, Dhruvin publicly supported Kinjal during the controversy. He reshared her Facebook video on his Instagram Story along with the message, “Always with you.” Kinjal’s father, Lalit Dave, also responded firmly to the criticism surrounding the engagement. He said, “We don’t have any complaints. Those who don’t find us worthy should kindly stay away from us. We are happy in our own world. We don’t need anyone’s certificate.“
