Veteran actor Mammootty added another prestigious honour to his illustrious career as he received the Padma Bhushan, India’s third-highest civilian award. The award was presented by President Droupadi Murmu during the second Civil Investiture Ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on June 23. This special occasion marked a proud milestone not only for the Malayalam superstar but also for the entire Indian film industry. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah were among the dignitaries present at the ceremony.
