As romance brews on the coasts of Australia, viewers are hyped up for the season of ‘Farmer Wants a Wife.’ With the suitors lining up, the close friends and families of the contestants were asked to choose a suitable girl out of five women for a match. There were romantic dates, surprises, and conversations – and only four women secured a spot back to the homesteads, making the competition for the original women stronger and leaving a wake of explosive confrontations. Let’s take a look at the five duos who charged the forces in the hope of meeting the love of their lives in ‘Farmer Wants a Wife.’
Farmer Zac met Asha
Asha, who has been obsessed with the concept of ‘love’ her whole life, was handpicked by Zac’s mother for her dynamite energy. Being the only single person in her friend group, she confessed to applying for the show after looking at Zac’s Instagram. The 23-year-old Pilates Instructor quickly won over the mother-son duo. “Asha is bright and bubbly, and it’s a great first impression,” Zac said to the cameras, per Marie Claire. However, Asha appears to have impacted not just the farm but also the potential futures of Zac’s existing suitors. Maya has had one too many meltdowns and said, “If Zac brings a new lady back to the farm, I know I will feel a little uneasy, and it will put us on a rocky road.”
Farmer Jarrad met Christina
Christina wanted the next relationship to be something she was proud of – and she was certainly back to the farm after her intruder date with Jarrad. His close friend, Rachel, chose the 36-year-old writer from Sydney to have a fresh start. As for the farmer, he admitted that the potential couple shares similar values and a lovable chemistry. The first date turned out to be quite romantic, involving a bathtub, conversations, and sweet nothings. Meanwhile, Jarrad’s existing ladies were nothing less than disappointed with the brand-new match, especially Yvonne. However, the farmer seems to have ditched the previous connections, helping Christina to settle in the space.
Farmer Dylan met Keeley
Keeley, the 23-year-old marketing executive, sought someone who shared the same interests and values as hers – and she met one after being picked by the grandparents. With horses and rodeos, she checked the lists on the date with Dylan.“This pursuit of love has got a lot more to it than I expected. She’s a proper spanner in the works, I reckon,” Dylan said. When he brought back the girl, the atmosphere on the farm shifted with lingering tension. While the farmer was nervous about introducing the new girl, he stated that she was the woman of his dreams and everything he had ever asked for.
Farmer Jason met Kimberly
Kimberly and Jason had crossed paths before, having slid into each other’s social media DMs. After the meet-cute, the couple expressed their values on children. Picked out by his sister, Ashley, the 35-year-old steel machine operator was thrilled to have a farm life in Brisbane. However, the existing suitors complained about the lack of attention given by Jason in the first place. “If I was in his position, I wouldn’t bring anyone back if I already had a connection with two girls,” Logan said, adding that the twist made her feel irrelevant.
Farmer Alex met Maddison
Despite the hope, light, and energy, Farmer Alex and Maddison did not hit it off. “I’m intrigued by Farmer Alex, and I want to get to know him more, and I want to know if his heart is still open,” she said, per Elle. However, he chose a steep mountain hike for their first date, leaving her questioning the decision. As for Alex, the farmer is still infatuated with religious lawyer Eddy, confirming that he is not looking forward to any other interactions, and his heart is sealed shut. Meanwhile, Eddy was happy that no girl returned to the farm, and her man passed the test.
